Construction of the external of the building has now been completed but there is much work to be done to complete the internal fit out. For anyone interested in contemporary buildings with a focus on natural materials the Whicher-Wilson is one of those buildings that you simply must see - it is truly breathtaking. The photos shown below give a hint of what to expect but only when you see it up close or stand inside can you grasp its significance. Its design, the craftmanship, the woodwork, the slopes and curves and above all the shear tenacity that has brought this building to its present state, will be admired for decades to come.
